Basecamp, a small family run business owned by Nick and Kelly Fox, specialise in producing quality, handmade salami and small goods using traditional smoking methods. Basecamp manufacture venison salamis, smoked sausage and biersticks for the retail market using MAF certified, free range wild venison. Basecamp also manufactures these traditionally smoked products for hunters and lifestyle block owners from your own wild game and domesticated farm animals.

Nick, a qualified butcher, bought his skills and knowledge into Basecamp when he started working for Basecamp in 2011. Since purchasing Basecamp in 2018, he has expanded the range of products and specialty butchery services for our clients. Nick’s philosophy and passion is all about “feeding the family”. Nick has introduced a full meat processing service and is able to manufacture a wide range of products. This enables us to provide clients with specialty smoked goods as well as a quality butchery service you can trust.
